Wisconsin Memorial Union

What's more ideal than celebrating the best day ever at the terrace?! Located on University of Wisconsin-Madison's campus, the Memorial Union has direct access to Lake Mendota with the beer garden under the old trees, amazing sunset views over the lake, and of course those fun and colorful iconic terrace chairs. Watch sailboats go by and enjoy a cold beer overlooking the beer garden with your new spouse and all your family and friends at this venue. Tripp Commons, the Great Hall, and the Tripp Deck (rooftop) are the best spaces for receptions and ceremonies. There are also "club suites" (hotel rooms) on site.

Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum

The Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum is one of the most luxurious and elegant wedding venues in Milwaukee. Villa Terrace is an Italian Renaissance villa built in 1923. The venue overlooks Lake Michigan and has sweeping terraces, beautiful gardens, and quiet courtyards with fountains for your wedding ceremony or reception. Renaissance Garden. The art Gallery hosts art pieces from the 15th to the 18th centuries. The villa is on the National Register of Historic Places. Want to get married in Milwaukee but it feels like Europe? Wisconsin Historical SocietyÂ

The Wisconsin Historical Society headquarters in downtown Madison could be the classic and sophisticated wedding venue for you! This grandiose building with ornate architectural features is located on the Library Mall on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, and is close to the Lake Mendota lakefront (just across the street!). Ceremonies can be held in the Reading Room library, outdoors on the east terrace, in the main lobby, or in the auditorium. Receptions can be held in the main lobby or on the east terrace.

Bishops Bay Country Club

Do you love Gilmore Girls as much as I do? The Bishops Bay Country Club feels like getting married at Chilton or the Gilmore mansion. It is timeless, elegant, classic and oh so luxurious. You could easily have a European-inspired or cottage core garden-style wedding at this venue. The space is opulent, enchanting, and full of character. The Country Club is located along the shore of Lake Mendota in Middleton. You can have an outdoor ceremony overlooking the lake and a reception in a tent outside on the grounds. This historic and elegant wedding venue in downtown Janesville feels like a romantic European destination. The venue is fully renovated for weddings and is absolutely gorgeous. The charming brick building has two spacious and modern dressing spaces for both sides of your wedding party. There is a large patio for outdoor ceremonies, a chic indoor bar area for cocktail hour, and a large main hall for your reception space. The staff were incredibly friendly to work with. I highly recommend having your wedding at 10 South Janesville!

Orchard Lawn is a historic Italianate mansion owned by the Mineral Point Historical Society. The house sits on acres of lush grounds and is a unique wedding venue in the countryside of Wisconsin. You could easily have a European-inspired wedding, a cottage core wedding, or a formal outdoor garden party wedding at this historic house venue. The space is opulent, enchanting, and full of character. The picturesque gardens are impeccably manicured. You can have an intimate and romantic ceremony inside the mansion, or a tranquil and picturesque ceremony outside in the summer. The mansion features a library, parlor, and dining room. Rental tents can be used outside for larger receptions.
