Katie and Andy celebrated their special day with an intimate Harvey House Wedding in Madison, Wisconsin. The Harvey House is an upscale restaurant in Downtown Madison that serves elevated supper club favorites alongside elegant midwest fine dining dishes in the historic renovated train depot. The couple invited their immediate family for a small ceremony on the second floor of the restaurant, and their extended family and closest friends joined the couple to celebrate with them during a cocktail party.
The indoor ceremony was heartfelt and intimate. The bride's dad walked her up the aisle, and her best friend officiated the ceremony. The floral arrangements were beautiful autumnal shades of pink, yellow, orange, and red that went perfectly with the crisp fall evening. The cocktail party was elegant and fun. The bartenders made fancy cocktails and served champagne for the guests and the restaurant provided heavy hors d'oeuvres for snacking throughout the evening. The hors d'oeuvres were delicious and included a charcuterie platter, Harvey House's famous relish tray, smoked salmon dip, deviled eggs, a goat cheese salad and more. For dessert, coffee and tea was served in fancy tea cups alongside brownies, cookies, and apple pavlova.
After the ceremony, the couple popped champagne, took family photos inside, and the couple and I took portraits outside by the historic yellow train car and by ivy covered walls. The Harvey House is the perfect venue for an intimate and elegant small wedding ceremony and reception!
