Jenny + AJ || MMoCA Wedding

I spent a beautiful warm, rainy, September morning in Madison with Jenny & AJ Forst on their wedding day. They threw the most delicious brunch with their close friends and family at Fresco, the rooftop restaurant above the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art with a fantastic view of State Street and the Orpheum Theater below. After brunch, they got married in the lobby of the museum while a string quartet played, and after the ceremony everyone celebrated with champagne and toasts at Fresco.

Getting ready for the first look! Jenny and AJ shared their first look on the breathtaking Madison Museum of Contemporary Art staircase which couldn't have been more beautiful. After the first look, we walked up State Street to the Capitol Square for more couple portraits. It was lightly raining on our walk and Jenny and AJ were greeted with many 'congratulations' from passersby.

After wandering up State Street to the Capitol Square with a stop at the angel wings and Hodag claws, it was time for the wedding brunch at Fresco, complete with mimosas and cupcakes. After brunch, the wedding ceremony was held in the lobby of the art museum. A string quartet played as the wedding party, followed by Jenny and her father, walked down the aisle. A close friend of Jenny's officiated the ceremony and the couple read their own vows, which were so sweet and put even me in tears.

After the ceremony, we celebrated with champagne and a few 'just married!' photos and some dancing in the sculpture garden on the rooftop. And with that, Jenny & AJ left for their honeymoon to Japan! Congratulations guys!
